Everything on the page, ready for your AI

Copy-pasting a long page into a chat is slow and easy to get wrong. site.txt gives you the whole page as a file your AI can read from top to bottom.

  • The whole page, nothing missing

site.txt captures the same text you would get from Select All and Copy, without the scrolling and highlighting.

  • TXT, PDF or Word

Download the page as a plain text file, a PDF or a Word document. Grab one, or all three at once.

  • Name your files

Every file is named after the page. Rename it in the popup and site.txt keeps your name the next time you open that page.

  • Copy straight into your prompt

One click puts the text on your clipboard, ready to paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Gemini.

  • Any language

Works on pages in any language, including Urdu and Arabic.

  • Private by design

No accounts, no servers, no analytics, no tracking. The text never leaves your device.

How it works

Three steps, no settings.

  1. Open any page

An article, documentation, a wiki entry, a research page or a forum thread.

  2. Click the site.txt icon

Your files appear, named after the page. Rename them if you like.

  3. Download or copy

Attach the file in ChatGPT, Claude or Grok, or paste the text into your prompt.

Questions

Short answers. The full details are in the site.txt privacy policy.

Does site.txt upload the pages I convert?

No. Everything happens inside your browser. site.txt has no servers, and it never sends page text, your browsing history or any personal information anywhere.

When can site.txt read a page?

Only when you click the site.txt icon, and only the tab you are on. It cannot see other tabs and does nothing in the background.

What does site.txt save?

Only file names you type into the popup, stored locally with the address of that page so your name is still there next time. It keeps names for your 100 most recent pages and never stores the page text.

Which pages can’t it read?

Chrome does not let extensions read chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or PDFs open in Chrome’s built-in viewer. For HTML files on your computer, turn on “Allow access to file URLs” for site.txt in chrome://extensions.

Is site.txt made by OpenAI, Anthropic or xAI?

No. site.txt is an independent tool made by Hyperpoly Studios. It works with ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and other AI assistants, but isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.
